Mountain Biking in Afan Argoed

The Rhyslyn car park is just 300 yards from the vestry and takes you directly on to the WALL" cycleway within the forest. Less than 2 1/2 miles by road (less by bike) is the Afan Forest Park Visitors Centre and less than 7 1/2 miles by road to Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre. This makes the vestry the perfect central hub for mountain bike holidays.

The Afan Forest Park Visitors Centre is the start point for the famous Penhydd Trail (17km) and The Wall (23km). Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre is the start point for the famous White's Level Trail (15km) and The 'Skyline' Trail (46km). The Low Level Cycleway connects the two visitors centre and runs on disused railwayline it ideal for family cycling. Mountain bike hire is available from both centres.
